How to complete A New Recruit quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Mulan Realm is an area available for Disney Dreamlight Valley players to explore and brings with it two new characters, namely Mulan and Mushu. By playing the storyline and completing certain quests, both these characters can be unlocked and usable. Here are the steps to complete this quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete the "A New Recruit" quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Clean up the campsite

Immediately upon entering the area, the player should see Mushu. Going up to him will result in the player being tasked with cleaning up the campsite, which is in poor shape. The tasks to be completed are:

• Breaking rocks (8x)
• Digging up rice spills (12x)
• Placing the cauldron the right way up

Once the above tasks have been accomplished, head back and interact with Mushu.

Find the uniform

Mushu will now task the player to find a uniform, consisting of a shirt, a pair of pants, some shoes, and lastly, a pair of socks. Below are the locations of each of the clothing items.

• Shirt: Located near Mushu, in a tent within the camp.
• Pants: Hanging on a tree right next to the entrance of the campsite.
• Socks: Situated in a tent near the cauldron the player previously had to place the correct way up.
• Shoes: Placed on a rock to the left side of the camp area, situated on a pathway leading towards the lake.

Once all four items are found, equip them and head back to speak with Mushu.

Make breakfast for Mulan

Mushu will now ask the player to prepare some Congee for Mulan as breakfast. Don't fret, all ingredients required are present on a table near the cauldron in the campsite. The following ingredients should be picked up:

• Ginger
• Garlic
• Mushroom
• Wheat
• Eggs

Head over to the cauldron to start cooking the Congee. Once ready, simply head over to the large Golden Bell and strike it to summon Mulan and let her know that breakfast has been served. She will appear in front of the player not too long after. Hand her the Congee to complete the quest line.
