The Kakariko Village is located near the very first dungeon. Here, you will find a woman who will ask for your help in retrieving her lost Cuccos who have escaped from their pen.

Here are the locations of all the Cuccos.

The first Cucco can be found near the woman's pen. Go south for a bit and you will find the bird roaming near the yellow flowers by the pool. Pick it up and throw it in the pen.

The second Cucco can be found near the item shop of the village. Climb down the stairs south of the village well to find the bird roaming near the gate. You can pick it up and drop it in the pen.

The third Cucco is located to the north of the pen. You can find it roaming around the village graveyard or the well. Pick it up and drop it from either the graveyard into the pen or by carrying it through the village.

Go inside the village graveyard and you can find the Cucco sitting inside. Pick it up and toss it in the pen.

Go north of the graveyard and you will find the final bird sitting atop the windmill. Use your wand to summon a trampoline to climb the tree. Keep jumping from one tree to the next till you come across the one near the mill. Place another trampoline here and use it to jump on top of the windmill and get the final Cucco.

Bringing the final bird to the pen will conclude the Cuccos on the Loose quest in The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom and the lady will offer you one Fairy Bottle as a reward.
