Completing the Suariwak shrine quest
The Suariwak shrine is one of the few walk-in shrines in Tears of The Kingdom where you can simply activate and enter to collect the Light of Blessing and treasure chests. That is, there are no puzzles to be solved or enemies to be fought.
However, to enter the Yiga clan's hideout, you will need the Yiga armor as a disguise to get in. If you have already acquired the same, you are good to go, else, you can look into our Yiga Armor guide to get yourself a set.
The Yiga Clan Exam
With that out of the way, let's get to the Yiga Clan Exam that will give you entry to the Suariwak shrine.
Step 1: Enter the hideout while equipping the Yiga Armor and talk to the blade master to trigger the exam quest.
Step 2: The quest will have you searching the map for five frog statues, where you will have to place bananas as offerings. The blade master will provide you with the bananas and the location markers on the map for your quest.
Step 3: The first spot is right below the footbridge outside the hideout. Drop down using your glider and place the bananas at the frog statue with the Yiga clan mark.
Step 4: The next location marker that is directly below the first one is in the Gerudo Canyon. You can use fast travel to the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower and dive down into the canyon with your glider. The spot can be easily located using the marker.
Step 5: The third one is near Spectacle Rock and can also be accessed from the same Skyview Tower. Launch yourself up from the tower and land on top of the mountain where the location marker points to. The frog statue will be out in the open and easy to spot.
Step 6: Out of the remaining two, the southern one is inside the Gerudo Canyon mine. The entrance to the cave can be tricky to spot. Drop down into the quarry and look for an opening in the walls near the marker. You can fight the enemies or avoid and climb up the wall on the right to find the fourth spot.
Step 7: The final spot is inside Mount Nabooru Cave in the Mount Nabooru region. Jump off the cliff towards the water with Link's paraglider. As you descend, turn towards the cliff to spot the cave entrance below the scaffoldings. Follow the marker from there to find the last frog statue.
Step 8: Return to the blade master to complete the exam and gain access to the Suariwak shrine. Besides the promised Light of Blessing, you also get Ruby, an Eightfold Longblade, and a Big Battery.
The Yiga Clan Exam is imperative to access the Suariwak shrine. Also, make sure to get the Yiga Armor before the quest. The armor will also help you get the Earthwake technique from the main hideout of the Yiga clan in Tears of the Kingdom.
