The recipe to craft the Hefty Furnace Pots is obtained via the Greater Potentate's Cookbook (2). The Greater Potentate Cookbook can be obtained as soon as you arrive at Gravesite Plains. Progress till you reach the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace, and from there, proceed northwest.

Once you reach a crossroads, head east, under the great bridge, and you will arrive at the Run-Down Traveler's Rest. Inside the Run-Down Traveler's Rest, you will find a couple of Furnace Visages and the Greater Potentate's Cookbook (2).

To craft a Hefty Furnace Pot, you need to collect three ingredients - Redflame Mushroom, Ember of Messmer, and Furnace Visage. The Redflame Mushroom can be obtained while exploring Scadu Altus and the neighboring regions. The best places to farm the Redflame Mushrooms are the ruined cathedrals and mausoleums across Scadu Altus.

Ember of Messmer is found near Messmer's Soldier campsites and can be farmed endlessly. The best place to farm the Ember of Messmer is the campsite near the Castle Front Site of Grace and the Highroad Cross Site of Grace.

Lastly, the Furnace Visage is acquired from the Furnace Golems, and unfortunately, cannot be farmed. You get a single Furnace Visage upon killing a Golem, which only allows you to craft a single Hefty Furnace Pot. However, if you make your way to the Ruins of Ante, you can collect a good chunk of them from the corpses of Furnace Golems.
