Conveyor Belts are a must-have for establishing a production line in Satisfactory. You can get your hands on one by completing the HUB Upgrade 4 Milestone in Tier 0. Once this is done, you can craft a Conveyor Belt through the build menu under the logistics tab.
To do so, however, you need an Iron Plate, which can be obtained by mining Iron Ore. Once you get your hands on it, process it into Iron Ingots and refine it into Iron Plates at a crafting bench.
How to set up the Conveyor Belts
To build the Conveyor Belt, follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Open the build menu and select conveyor belt Mk.1.
- Aim at an open port and press LMB to create a starting point for your transportation belt.
- Connect the belt to the other end.
- Click LMB again to complete your project.
The Belt needs to be connected to an output as well as an input. The orange port indicates an input, whereas the green port indicates an output. If you are unable to finalize your construction, make sure that both ends are not connected to just two outputs or two inputs.
How to upgrade the Conveyor Belts in Satisfactory
There are various levels of Conveyor Belts available in the game which can increase the rate at which the transportation is taking place. As you keep progressing in the game, you will be able to level up your Conveyor Belt.
- Conveyor Belt Mk.2: Tier 2 - Logistics Mk.2
- Conveyor Belt Mk.3: Tier 4 - Logistics Mk.3
- Conveyor Belt Mk.4: Tier 5 - Logistics Mk.4
- Conveyor Belt Mk.5: Tier 7 - Logistics Mk.5
The Conveyor Belts can also be dismantled anytime, returning your investment. Even if you have already upgraded to a Conveyor Belt Mk.2 or further, make sure to keep some Iron Plates in your inventory to create a Conveyor Belt Mk.1 if needed.
