Dealing with anomalies can be both, simple and tricky depending on their nature. For the most part, these anomalies damage you or even kill you for good. However, there is a way to get rid of some:

  • When you encounter anomalies, you must use your bolts in Stalker 2.
  • You can do so by pressing '6' on the keyboard which is the default key for bolts. Using a bolt on an anomaly will dispel it for a short period.
  • Do note that using a bolt will dispel the anomaly for about a second or two, so you need to move past them as fast as possible.

Once they regenerate you may have to use another bolt if you haven't gotten past them yet. This works on most anomalies such as broken gravity and fire sprouts. However, it's limited in nature and can't affect all of them.

Massive bubbles floating around in the game's world should be avoided at all costs. They are just some of the many anomalies in Stalker 2 that cannot be done away with. It is usually easy to avoid them because they often follow a predictable pattern of movement. However, if you're not careful and come in contact with them, the reward will be instant death.

So thoroughly practice your Stalker 2 movement to jump or dart past them. In other cases, you can simply use your bolts to get rid of the less dangerous anomalies in the game.
