The Alptop Champion is one of the five Outlier Tacet Discord enemies that were introduced in the Wuthering Waves 1.3 update. These are extremely strong level 120 enemies that get unlocked after leveling up your Data Hub in the Black Shores region. Defeating this enemy will significantly contribute towards reaching 100% exploration progress in the Black Shores region.

The Alptop Champion is the last unique Tacet Discord that gets unlocked after upgrading your Data Hub to its maximum level. This means that you must upgrade your Data Hub to level 5 to be able to unlock it. Once the enemy has been unlocked, you can track it from the Data Hub's menu to see its location on the map.

To reach the enemy, teleport to the Resonance Beacon in the Eidoscope region and head southwest. You will have to climb up some rocks to be able to reach this unique Tacet Discord.

Much like its predecessor Outliers, the Alptop Champion is also an enhanced variation of one of the enemies that you find in the overworld of Wuthering Waves. This particular enemy is similar to the Rocksteady Guardian. Similar to its counterpart, the Alptop Champion has some unique moves and abilities that you must look out for that deal a ton of damage.

The Alptop Champion has a bunch of different moves that it uses during a fight. If you are away from the enemy, it will jump in the air and leap toward you to slam the ground, dealing damage in a small AoE. Apart from that, when in range, it can attack you by swinging its rock shield arms, and shooting a laser from its core, and it can also slam its shield on the ground to summon a wave of rocks that will head in your direction.

It is important to understand its attacks and dodge them accordingly at the right time since they can easily take away a big chunk of your HP when hit.

Being an upgraded version of the Rocksteady Guardian, the Alptop Champion too has a higher resistance to Spectro. • Baizhi, Sanhua, Havoc Rover

Having a support unit like the Shorekeeper, Verina, Baizhi, or Jianxin can be useful as they can provide substantial buffs and provide protection or heal your characters to ensure survivability. Apart from that, any non-Spectro damage-dealing unit like Encore, Calcharo, Changli, Jiyan. and Xiangli Yao will allow you to defeat the enemy quickly.

The Alptop Champion is a formidable opponent that can deal a ton of damage in a single hit and can even one-shot your characters if you get caught in its attacks. However, there is a strategy that you can utilize over and over to easily deal damage to the enemy and make it immobile.

You can counterattack the Alptop Champion if it executes a specific attack during the battle, in which it slams the ground with its rock shield arm and summons a wave of rocks in your direction. When the counterattack ring appears around its arm, wait for the appropriate opportunity to click the attack button.

Once you land a successful counterattack to this particular move, the enemy will keep using this same attack over and over again. You can keep counterattacking this way, chipping away a decent chunk of its HP and the white bar below it, eventually immobilizing and leaving it vulnerable to do your team's full rotation.

Apart from the above-mentioned strategy, here are some additional tips that you can use against the Alptop Champion:

• Make sure that your team is well-built and equipped with the best equipment available to you. A balanced team will require a sub-DPS to assist your primary damage dealer in battle along with a strong support.
• In case you are facing difficulties in defeating the opponent, you may always utilize food buffs to boost your damage and DEF to ensure survivability.
• Patience is crucial in this battle. Knowing your enemy's attacks and understanding when to dodge will be key since the enemy can easily one-shot your characters.
