Most of Captain Lotus-Vision's attacks are projectile-based, which can be a bit tricky to deal with due to the boss arena's restricting size. Additionally, during the fight, you have to contend with the Pagoda's curse, which constantly drains your total HP. This makes certain regular attacks lethal enough to "one-shot" you.

Tips to easily defeat Captain Lotus-Vision in Black Myth Wukong

Captain Lotus-Vision can be found within a secret chamber in the Pagoda Realm, accessible via the chasm adjacent to the Upper Pagoda Keeper's Shrine. This boss isn't particularly challenging, but can be annoying. Thankfully, the encounter is optional and can be tackled even after completing Chapter 3 (The New West).

However, defeating it is necessary if you want to complete the Prisoner's questline. The biggest issues you will face against Captain Lotus-Vision are his constant teleporting and the relentless use of projectiles. Furthermore, if you take too long to defeat the boss, you will have to contend with the Pagoda's curse.

Thankfully, Captain Lotus-Vision doesn't have nearly as much health as some of the other bosses in the Pagoda Realm. As such, the boss can be defeated quite easily if you efficiently use all the tools available. Here are some tips that should help you win against Captain Lotus-Vision in Black Myth Wukong:

• Stay as close to Captain Lotus-Vision as possible, at all times. Most of the damage against this boss will come from your light attack combos, and occasionally, from varied combos.
• Spirit abilities and Vessels don't have much impact on Captain Lotus-Vision. Use the Transformation Spell, preferably Golden Lining or Red Tides, to deal a ton of damage.
• For Spells, stick with Immobilize and Cloud Step, but only as a defensive measure.
• The most annoying (and challenging) aspect of this boss fight is the laser attacks, which intensify in the second phase. Kite around the boss and keep an eye on the lasers' trajectory to avoid them.
• Note that Pillar Stance isn't of much help here since the smaller projectiles will easily knock you out of the stance. Instead, Smash or Thrust Stance works best against Captain Lotus-Vision.
• Lastly, deal with Captain Lotus-Vision after you've killed either all the Lantern Wardens or Captain Wise-Voice. That way, you won't have to deal with the Pagoda's curse while fighting Captain Lotus-Vision.
