How to defeat Cloudy Mist and Misty Cloud in Black Myth Wukong

The story of Black Myth Wukong is set in Ancient China and puts you into the shoes of the mythical protagonist, Sun Wukong. He is out to exact vengeance and deliver justice to those who have wronged him and his clan and destroyed the mountain they called home. The protagonist must face many hurdles and challenges along the way, the most prominent of which are the boss fights.

Among the many foes Sun Wukong must face off against are the daunting duo of Cloudy Mist and Misty Cloud, found in Chapter 5, titled "Golden Child, Crimson Blood." With that in mind, here are the steps to find and defeat both of these enemies.

Where to encounter Cloudy Mist and Misty Cloud in Black Myth Wukong

While playing through the game, you will encounter both enemies during Chapter 5 of the campaign. Travel to the Valley Entrance Keeper's Shrine, and progress through the path ahead into Furnace Valley.

By proceeding down the path beyond a stone entrance, you will find the lair of Misty Cloud and Cloudy Mist on the right side of the protagonist. You may encounter some smaller enemies along the way.

Fighting Misty Cloud and Cloudy Mist in Black Myth Wukong

Though both enemies appear together at first, you do not fight them simultaneously, but by taking turns. You can use spells such as Rock Solid and A Pluck of Many, though the most beneficial among these will likely be the Immobilize spell. Certain transformations, such as becoming the Scorpion can also help in defeating the enemies.

The key to surviving, as with most other boss fights is to effectively dodge the attacks, immobilize them, and attack while they are immobile. You will first encounter Cloudy Mist, then Misty Cloud will show up to fight you as well.

While Cloudy Mist uses a large staff, Misty Cloud utilizes a burning log, which he will often use in Sun Wukong's direction.

Rewards for defeating Cloudy Mist and Misty Cloud

Once defeated, you can pick up both enemies' Spirits. Along with this, you can also claim the following rewards:

• 4456 Will
• 2x Cold Iron Leaves
• Knot of Voidness
• Fine Gold Thread

The Qi cost to equip the Spirit is high. Once in the inventory, you can take the form of Misty Cloud in battle to wield a powerful incense stick. You can then follow it up by taking the form of Cloudy Mist to unleash deadly light beams to defeat your foes.
