Right at the beginning of your fight with Curseblade Labirith, the boss will turn the arena dark with a spell and use the cover of shadows to attack you from different angles. While these aren't all that hard to dodge, there is an easier way to deal with them. The easiest way to defeat Curseblade Labirith in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is to summon a Spirit Ash.

This boss doesn't believe in continuously pummeling you to death; instead, they will let off a slashing combo and disappear into the dark to try and catch you off guard. So, by having a Spirit Ash involved in the fight, you can split Curseblade Labirith's attention.

Any time the boss appears to attack you, your Spirit Ash will deal damage, if the boss approaches your summon, it is extremely easy to circle and let off a few attacks. It is recommended that you have your Scadutree blessing at least +5 before taking this boss on.

This boss is similar to the horned dual-wielding enemies you might've encountered throughout the Realm of Shadow, so you won't have to learn all their attack patterns to dodge efficiently. If you want to get the fight over without breaking a sweat, summoning a spirit is the best way to go.

This boss fight only gets difficult if you're hanging back and playing defensively. So, be on the attack, stay aggressive, and be ready to dodge every time Curseblade Labirith disappears from your screen. As long as you follow these instructions, you should have no trouble with this encounter. You will get 100,000 runes and the Curseblade Meera's Spirit Ashes for defeating Curseblade Labirith.

It is important to remember that you can always step back, gain more levels, or find a new weapon if you're struggling to defeat a boss in the Elden Ring. If a boss is wiping the floor with you, it can be perceived as the game's way of telling you that you aren't ready for this fight.
