Best strategies for beating Daisoujou
1) Bring in the heat
Daisoujou’s one weakness is fire aka the Agi skills in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance. So obviously the first thing you need against it is Demons with powerful Agi attacks.
Demons like Hua Po can be a great choice thanks to its arsenal of Agi. However, if you want a much more versatile Demon then Ameno Uzume can be great as it has both Agi and Healing skills.
2) Healers and Purifiers
Daisoujou’s attacks hit very hard when they land, this is why having a healer in your squad is highly recommended. That’s why Ameno Uzume plays such a vital role in this team composition.
Another demon you should consider having is the Mothman in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance. It’s Me Patra skill for purifying status ailments can be a life save against Daisoujou’s Preach skill.
3) Dark attack Dampeners
Daisoujou in Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance has the Mamudo skill and it loves to spam it. Demons who are strong against it or resist it can be an asset in this fight.
Based on this, one of the best choices for your team is Bugs. This murder teddy not only nullifies Dark attacks but also has access to Agi skills.
4) Use dampers and burst damage
The best way to bring down Daisoujou in Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance is to exploit the Omagatoki: Critical. The first few turns Daisoujou will charge its Megatsuhi and use dark attacks then the next time when it charges its Megatsuhi, it will spam light attacks.
Keep this alternating pattern in mind, use the correct Dampeners in the first turns, and then focus on doing burst damage using Omagatoki: Critical. And soon the battle will be over.
