The Funi are treasure enemies that cannot be defeated traditionally by just using attacks. You'll need to complete their prompts instead. A Funi will ask you for a series of items and certain attacks to mix them up. They will always reward jewels. In fact, they are the only guaranteed source of jewels in the game. Moreover, some gems can only be found through the Funi.
However, you'll need to complete more complex challenges if you want to acquire the more powerful jewels. You can stop when you feel the challenges getting out of hand, and get the earned jewels as a reward. However, this mechanic only applies to jewels with extra levels, such as Garnets and Sapphires.
Where to find Funi
Here are the various points you can find the Funi in FANTASIAN Neo Dimension, and the jewels you can get from them:
The Funi will first demand items, such as Potions or Ethers, followed by asking for an attack. The latter can be:
- One single massive attack
- Cumulative damage attacks
- Certain elemental attacks.
Before giving in to their demands, Ez should cast Quick All, providing a speed buff to all party members, followed by using Cheryl or Valrika to slow the enemy down. This will give you some more leeway, considering you'll only have a few turns to complete the enemy's asks. Here are a few tips regarding the attacks you should use when prompted by the Funi:
- For single attacks that can deal massive damage, use the Cheryl combo of Concentrate, Double Charge, Attack Power Up, and Blizzard Strike.
- For continuous hits, you can use Leo's Samidare, Prickle's Frenzy, and Valrika's Arrow Rain.
- Elemental attacks tend to only appear in the Elemental Trials and are typically much more forgiving.
Can you make the Funi appear faster?
While there is no way to make the Funi in FANTASIAN Neo Dimension spawn any faster, if you look in the suggested locations and roam around for some time, you'll be able to trigger an encounter with them with relative ease.
