Since this is the ultimate boss of the campaign, you need to go all out preparing to defeat this guy. It is recommended to have the Raval armor and shield along with the Brave sword maxed out. You'll also need various items to increase your offensive power, such as the Talisman of War and all the Rubies for your Ignis Bracelet. Be ready to spend your money to buy the maximum amount of Katol Elixirs. You'll also need to grind for some time to reach around Level 50 for this fight.

It is important to note that you cannot damage Galbalan initially in its first phase. The round will see the boss use two attacks, one of which involves it using criss-crossing lines of fire to damage you. Jump over them to avoid hurting yourself. Its other attack is firing large burning projectiles at you. You can try to run past them or use your Terra Bracelet to destroy them.

After these two attacks, Galbalan will create ice platforms that rise upwards. Jump onto them and shoot your fireballs into the glowing weak spot of the boss. This will expose the eye of the boss, and shoot some fireballs into the eye to damage the boss.

The Galbalan boss in Ys Memoire The Oath in Felghana will now start using its hands in the fight as well, sweeping them across the entire arena. You'll need to jump over them while hitting its eye. It can also hit one of its hands at a point in the arena creating a shockwave. Move away from the hit to avoid the damage. Continue attacking it and he'll enter its second phase.

In the second phase, the Galbalan boss in Ys Memoire The Oath in Felghana will suck away all of your magic. This time it'll keep using its hands for attacking, but the arena will be filled with moving laser lines. You'll need to dodge both of these objects and use your melee strikes to damage either the arms or the eye of the boss.

The boss will periodically summon the ice platforms, which you can hop onto to temporarily avoid the obstacles in the arena. You can perform the descending slash while hopping down from the platform.

Galbalan will also add another attack into the mix, where it pulls back and slams its arms into the arena, causing ice shards to erupt from the floor. You'll need to jump over it with the right timing to avoid the arena-spanning attack, but you can use the Terra bracelets to get some leeway.

Once you've dealt sufficient damage, your magic energy will temporarily start regenerating and allow you to shoot fireballs into the boss' eye. Repeat this process multiple times and the boss will transition to the next phase.

In the third phase, the Galbalan boss in Ys Memoire The Oath in Felghana will send out a big orb which you'll need to hit back and forth at increasing speeds to damage the boss. However, you'll need to do this while avoiding the various other attacks the boss unleashes in the arena. This phase will see you constantly moving around and dodging projectiles on the floor similar to a bullet-hell game.

The boss will mainly use two attacks in this phase. Firstly, it will summon a void of smoke which will spit out numerous projectiles in a pattern. Position yourself between its gaps and use your jumps to navigate this attack carefully. Secondly, the boss will summon a vortex on the ground. Avoid this move at any cost, as getting hit by this move locks you into an unblockable attack that will deal a good chunk of damage.

Repeat this process a few times and you will best the Galbalan boss in Ys Memoire The Oath in Felghana.
