He is a devoted sanctist who cares about others, but as you progress through the story, he will become corrupted by Magla’s Influence and will take the sickly to be sacrificed in Mt. Vulkano. Eupha will ask you to help her stop his madness. You must defeat Mad Sanctor Hyperic if you want to progress her story.

Here are a few key strategies you will need to follow to take out Mad Sanctor Hyperic in Metaphor ReFantazio.

Recommended Archetypes

• Mage/Wizard
• Devil Summoner/Summoner
• Faker
• Masked Dancer/Persona Master with Healer mask
• Any Healer lineage archetype.

If you have unlocked Persona Master from progressing Junah’s storyline, you can combo it with any Mage archetype to gain the advantage. Persona Master can inflict one-time elemental weaknesses on enemies that you can exploit to deal more damage and gain press turns.

Faker can be used to tear through Hyperic’s defense using the various debuffing spells. Healer lineage is self-explanatory as it will provide sustenance during the boss fight.
