In Metaphor ReFantazio, Maneater Manjula can inflict poison that will damage your characters after they take any action. The best way to defeat this boss is to have cleansing items in your pocket. There are a few Archetypes that will also give you an advantage.

Recommended Archetypes

  • Healer
  • Brawler
  • Mage

The Healer should be one of the main Archetypes you should use to defeat Maneater Manjula in Metaphor ReFantazio. If you do use it, you will get access to not only a strong team-wide healing spell but also the debuff-removing Patra spell. The boss is also weak to Strike attacks, and the Healer’s melee weapon deals this particular type of damage.

Brawler is your go-to damage dealer for this boss fight. It deals strike damag,e which Maneater Manjula is weak to. You can easily take it down and get yourself some press turns by using this Archetype.

Mage has the Blizz spell which Maneater Manjula is weak to. This will allow you to get more press turns.

Recommended equipments and items

Any item that can remove Poison is a great addition to this battle. Make sure to stock up on them from Sunshade Row General Store before heading out of Grand Trad.

In case you run low on Mana, make sure to also buy Fairy Dust or any healing items so that you don’t have to rely on spells alone.

The boss battle

Maneater Manjula will require you to fight off a horde of grunts before it takes up on your challenge.

Strike and Ice attacks work exceptionally well

As discussed earlier, the Brawler archetype will be your biggest asset during this fight. Make sure your brawler survives the ordeal.

If your party does not require critical healing or debuff cleansing, you can attack Maneater Manjula with your healer’s melee attacks that will give you press turns.

Mage can also deal ice damage, so make sure to have this archetype in Metaphor ReFantazio on any one of your party members.

Cleanse the poison debuff

The poison debuff can kill you if you leave it untreated for a long time. Make sure to use Patra spells or other items to cleanse it before that happens.

Maneater Manjula in Metaphor ReFantazio can be a bit challenging to fight if you don't know what to do. However, it is still quite easy, especially compared to the likes of Homo Avades, whom you have to fight during the Grand Cathedral dungeon.
