Matador has an arsenal of high crit force and damage attacks. These skills can wipe out your party in a matter of moments. To prepare for it, you will need demons that resist force damage. Kikuri-Hime is one of the best choices for it. Aside from her resistance, she also has some very effective debuff and resurrection abilities that can give you the upper hand.

2) Bring some Zio users

Matador is weak to Electric aka Zio attacks. Bring as many high-damaging Zio users as you can. High-damaging Zio attacks combined with Debuffs like Tarunda and Sukunda can drive the Matador into a corner.
