Unlike when you fought Zorba in Metaphor ReFantazio at the very beginning of the game, his corrupted Melancholia form can be quite powerful. He will have two forms, an offense, and a defense form, with his defensive mode resisting all types of spells.

Here are a few tips and tricks to take down Melancholia Zorba in Metaphor ReFantazio.

Archetypes

• Prince - Protagonist
• Royal Masked Dancer - Junah
• Royal Summoner - Eupha
• Royal Knight - Hulkenberg

You can either use Wizard or Cleric Mask on Junah, but make sure to unlock as many Synthesis Skills as you can for Eupha. Royal Knight will provide your party with essential sustenance, while the Prince will be your go-to damage dealer.

Melancholia Zorba in Metaphor ReFantazio doesn't have any weakness that you can exploit to gain press turns. This is where Masked Dancer and Summoner's skills will come in, where you will be able to inflict weakness and strike it to gain advantage.

Recommended equipment

Nothing can go wrong with having items that can heal you, so make sure to buy them before you head into the Skybound Avatar dungeon. If you have defeated the Elegy of the Soul optional boss, you will also have access to Dragon's Legacy sword.
