Mother Harlot in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance is an optional boss located in the Ueno region of the post-apocalyptic realm of Da'at. She is part of the side quest return of the True Demon, where Sophia of the World of Shadows tasks you with defeating the various avatars of Death. Mother Harlot in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance is the eighth boss that you will face during this quest.

In this side quest, Mother Harlot is comparatively easier to fight than previous bosses like White Rider, Daisoujou, and Matador in SMT 5 Vengeance. But don't think it will be a walk in the park, as her arsenal has several abilities that can immobilize you while also hitting hard.

The Mother Harlot boss fight can either be challenging or easy depending on a few factors. Below are a few strategies that you can employ to defeat her.

Have an abundance of Amrita Shower or use a demon with Me Patra

Mother Harlot's specialty is her almighty skills that can inflict status ailments on allies. You should take a handful of Amrita Shower items which can remove ailments from the team. Alternatively, you can take a demon with Me Patra. Just make sure that it does not have weakness to Charm and Confusion.

Ice and Force spells are your key

The Mother Harlot in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance is weak to Force and Ice attacks. Have allies with Zanbarion and Bufubarion to make quick work of her. It is wise to have these spells on Nahobino and have allies with the Donum Magic spell to deal more damage.

Make sure that you have one demon who can inflict Sleep

This is the most important step, as it can deny Mother Harlot her turn. Make sure you have at least one ally who can inflict sleep ailment on Mother Harlot and set them at the fourth slot. You can use this on your last turn, and if hit, Mother Harlot will miss out on her chance to deal some heavy damage.
