Rubric Marines in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 is an enemy class that you will have to fight in the game's main campaign. The Rubric Marines are part of the Thousand Sons faction and are loyal followers of the Trickster Chaos God, Tzeentch.
Rubrik Marines used to be a faction of wise Space Marines who were adept in using Warp Magic. However, after the events of Horus Heresy, the Thousand Sons lost their Primearch and became corrupted by the Chaos, turning into some of the most terrifying servants of Tzeentch.

The Rubric Marines in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 make their appearances in both Campaign missions and Operations.
Currently, there are two kinds of Rubric Marines in the game: the Standard Rubric Marines and Warpflamer Rubric Marine. The main difference between the two is that the latter is equipped with a corrupted Pyreblaster.

The Warpflamer can throw walls of flames that have a slightly lesser range than the standard Rubric, but it can cover a larger area and deal a lot of damage.

Best strategies for defeating the Rubric Marines in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2
1) Plasma weapons are the best pick against them
A fully charged shot from a Plasma Incinerator or a Plasma Pistol can deal the most damage to Chaos Marines.
2) Keep your distance from the Warpflamer
The Warpflamer is the most dangerous when encountered up close. Keep your distance from it and try not to be in its flamer’s range.

3) Go for the head
Focus on hitting the Marines on the head to quickly make them available for a melee finisher. Thanks to their massive horns, their heads are hardly missed, so shoot bolts ar their faces and then finish them in style.
