How to defeat the Tambourine Duo in Wuthering Waves

The Tambourine Duo enemies in Wuthering Waves are one of the five newly added Outlier Tacet Discords that can be challenged in the new Black Shores region, released in version 1.3. The challenge features two Tambourinist variants that are of a much higher level than the ones that spawn in the open world, and defeating them will yield lucrative rewards.

To unlock the Tambourine Duo in Wuthering Waves, you must first interact with the KU-Kass robot in Tethys Deep to unlock the Data Hub. Once you have collected and submitted enough Cass Cartridges to unlock Level 4, you will be able to find the Tambourine Duo on the map, located southwest of the Modulation Hall Resonance Beacon.

As mentioned above, the Tambourine Duo is a special variant of the normal Tambourinists and has a similar moveset. They can deal high damage in close proximity by slashing their arms and also deal AoE damage, which is preceded by violet-colored circles on the ground. As such, it is recommended to dodge often when going up against them.

Moreover, the Tambourinists can also teleport from one place to another, so be mindful of their locations during the battle.

You can use a variety of teams against the Tambourine Duo and there are no restrictions. However, it is recommended to bring characters that can assist in crowd control and grouping, as the foes teleport away from each other and it may be difficult to deal with one at a time.

The best damage dealers you can opt for this challenge are Jiyan and Jinhsi. However, most others will also do.

It is quite easy to defeat the Tambourine Duo, as long as you are proficient at dodging their attacks. Here are a few tips that may be helpful to you during the encounter:

• When the Tambournists pull their arms back, they are going to perform a slash. As such, it would be ideal to dodge.
• Watch out for the various violet-colored circles forming on the floor below you. Move as soon as you see them as they are followed by a powerful attack.
