As the leader of the City, you have to take certain actions that might worsen relationships with a certain Faction, leading to Fervor. Fervor leads to riots, protests, Civil War, and possible game-ending scenarios.

You can combat the rise of Fervor and unrest among Factions using a game mechanic known as Deradicalization. It is your most powerful asset when Fervor rises to uncontrollable levels after Factions in Frostpunk 2 feels unhappy, ignored, or agitated.

You can see a Faction's Fervor from the detail card when you click on any of the icons representing them. Select the icon to open up the card that details your relationship with the Faction and the Fervor on the right-hand side.

Ideally, it would be best if you kept your Fervor to 'none' as it ensures a peaceful Faction without any radical or violent tendencies. Pay attention to each Faction's needs and try to meet the demands of one without hurting the other too much. This is the best way for you to maintain a decent Fervor.
