Deployable abilities in Marvel Rivals often appear with a bright red glow on the battlefield. Their location may be strategic. For instance, Moon Knight benefits the most by putting down his Ancient Ankh near the area where two teams brawl. Finding deployable abilities may seem difficult in some cases, although they are typically easy to spot.
Remain extra careful if the enemy has taken more space towards your spawn. Watch out for unusual patches of red glow, as these could be enemy abilities.
Heroes like Iron Man can easily spot these from the sky without coming into contact with them. Once you see deployable abilities left behind by enemies, shoot them down and destroy them. Usually, primary fire abilities should dismantle the enemy's traps.
Snipers like Black Widow can also easily locate these objects from a distance and take them out before any harm can be done to the team.
How to use deployable abilities in Marvel Rivals
1) Namor’s Aquatic Dominion
Namor's Aquatic Dominion ability allows you to place two Monstros that act like turrets. They have a range of up to 40 meters and anything within this distance is considered a target. Place them close to where your team is taking up the fight. Target enemy Vanguards with the Trident of Neptune, as this ability, if landed, makes the turrets focus on that specific target.
2) Peni Parker's Bionic Spider-Nest
The Bionic Spider-Nest used by Peni Parker can deploy up to 10 drones that can deal up to 40 damage each. Use Arachno-Mines in combination with this ability as the mines can deal up to 1,000 damage.
The combination is deadly and can take down even Vanguard heroes if the attempt is successful.
3) Moon Knight’s Ancient Ankh
The Ancient Ankh is best deployed close to several enemies. Moon Knight can deflect his attacks off this ability which can also pull in enemies, making them easier targets. Place them in locations of interest or choke points. You can also place them close to objective points to destroy the enemy team.
4) Groot’s Walls
The Thornlash wall can deal damage to opponents, while Ironwood can heal allies. Groot needs to be close by for the walls to be activated. Therefore, it's best to use Thornlash when dealing with a massive number of enemies. You can use Ironwood to heal Damage-based heroes if they need to recover during fights.
5) Loki’s Doppelgangers
Loki's Doppelgangers are a rather interesting mechanic. Loki can create two copies of himself and move between them by using Devious Exchange. You can place one copy offensively while the other stays safe as a defensive measure. These copies can use Regeneration Domain simultaneously, making Loki incredibly strong for a brief period.
6) Rocket Raccoon’s BRB & CYA
Rocket Raccoon's BRB and CYA are buffs for the team. Use BRB for your damage-based heroes, as it adds 25 HP to their base health. His ultimate — CYA — is best used when multiple members of the team are trying to charge at the opponent to take an objective, as it gives them a 40% damage boost for 12 seconds.
