Moreover, while these methods require perfect timing to execute, some of them are also effective in dodging some of the strongest ultimate blasts in the game.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero: How to dodge attacks

As mentioned you dodge any attack using three methods, whether Offensive or Ultimate blasts. Below is the list of all the three techniques and how to use them:

1) Step or Short Dash

Step or Short Dash is the basic method to dodge any attack. Mostly used to dodge basic attacks, this method has you moving quickly in any direction you want. If you are close to your enemy the character will perform a Step, and being far away results in a Short Dash. To do so, press the following button:

  • PlayStation5: X
  • Xbox: A
  • PC: F

After pressing the button, push your analog stick in any direction or press a directional button on the keyboard to perform the mentioned technique.

2) Sonic Sway or Super Perception

Sonic Sway or Super Perception requires perfect timing to execute. It is very effective in countering the opponent’s quick rush and also drains their Ki. Moreover, it can counter blasts, like Kamehameha, for two Skill Counts. To perform this technique you need to press the following keys:

  • PlayStation5: O
  • Xbox: B
  • PC: Q

3) Vanish or High-Speed Evasion

Vanish or High-Speed Evasion is effective for both countering enemy attacks and repositioning yourself in another angle for a counterattack. To perform this dodge, you need to press the following keys:

  • PlayStation 5: R1
  • Xbox: RB
  • PC: E

This requires perfect timing to execute, so you have to press the button just as you are about to get hit by the enemy. The Vanish technique can also counter an ultimate blast if your timing is perfect.
