The Yiga clan's main hideout is the one you want to infiltrate if you wish to earn this ability. There are two Yiga hideouts in the Gerudo Highlands region of Tears of The Kingdom map. The first one will bring you The Yiga Clan Exam completing, which will give you access to the Suariwak Shrine.

The main hideout is situated near the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower. Dive down from the tower and glide you're way down the canyon to the base of the tower, where you will find a small opening leading up to a hidden door of the hideout. It's quite close to the skyview tower and can be spotted easily.

Unlocking the Earthwake Technique

The trial will have you battling some clan members in three rounds. So, ensure you are battle-ready with proper weapon sets and complementary recipes.

Here is how you can infiltrate the Yiga clan and obtain the Earthwake technique:

Step 1: To infiltrate the Yiga clan, you will definitely need the Yiga armor set, or else they will not let you enter the premises. If you haven't found it, look through our Yiga armor set guide to blend in with the clan members.

Step 2: As you enter the hideout, you will encounter a blade master in the center of the room. Take the stairs to his right, leading to the next chamber. You can visit the vendors and procure some useful weapons and shield upgrades before going if you wish.

Step 3: In the next chamber, the passageway leading to the trial hall can be found in the opposite corner of this chamber. Look out for the gateway decorations to spot the hallway.

Step 4: Once in the trial chamber, make your way up to the blade master and trigger the challenge. The first attempt is free, albeit the following attempts will cost you 100 rupees.

Step 5: The first round will have you defeating three Yiga members in under one minute. Complete the trial and return to the bladed master to get the Yiga Fabric. You can use it to craft the Yiga Glider.

Step 6: In the second round, you will face six Yiga fighters and have to defeat them in under a minute. Upon completing this round, you will gain the Earthwake Manual that will imbue Link with the ways of the Earthwake technique.

Step 7: The final round is the hardest to complete unless you have mastered your fighting skills. The round is completed after defeating nine Yiga members in one minute. Completing the final round will reward you with the Lightning Helm, which makes Link immune to lightning strikes.

Using the Earthwake Technique?

To use the Earthwake technique, unequip melee weapons and hold the special attack button. This will charge up the attack, and you can guide it toward your enemies. Upon releasing the button, an explosion will dish damage and launch your foes into the air.
