Initially presenting cute and harmless undertones, the horror aspects of MiSide become evident not long into the game. You will quickly find yourself on the hunt for a way out of the virtual reality you're trapped in, the earliest tries of which, will be during the Beyond the World chapter. After getting a ring and escaping the basement area, players will find themselves in a subliminal space.
This will lead them to a labyrinthine segment, which can be very easy to get lost in. This guide will help you find the right way out.

How to exit the Beyond the World labyrinth in MiSide
The maze-like area consists of a series of corridors and taking the wrong path will lead players back to the start. There is a specific pattern to follow to get to the exit which is as follows:
First, follow the corridor to the right and take the doorway featured in the screenshot above. Walk down the corridor and emerge onto the area on the other side. More doorways await here, which can be confusing. Take note of the cabinet on the platform nearby and climb down the two sets of stairs.
This will lead you to the area with said cabinet. Look to the left to find the exit doorway, which will help you escape the maze in MiSide, but it isn't over yet. The corridor beyond has a branching area to the right with an NPC that you can optionally converse with to learn more about the bizarre world and its inhabitants.
Once done, check out the other area, where another challenge awaits with a locked door. It has a display saying "0/3" and a vent next to it. Visit the adjacent rooms, and interact with the box sitting next to the mirror for a series of miniature players to pop out of it. You must now herd any three figures toward the vent to unlock the door.
Since they run away from the protagonist, chasing and boxing them is enough to lure them in. While only three figures are needed, you can shepherd all other characters, too, except for the one sitting in a corner. There does not seem to be any benefit to doing this, however.
