Gold is one of the most crucial resources in the world of Elder Scrolls Castles, a title that was released a few days ago. Introduced in the game quite early, Gold is required for building, crafting, and delivering the rulings. As a king of the castle, you will often be prompted by both Nobles and Commoners to make a ruling, which often requires a hefty amount of Gold coins.
You can run out of Gold pretty quickly if you are not careful, especially if you are doing a lot of crafting. However, there are some neat tricks you can use to farm Gold coins early on in the game to ensure you don't run out.
In this article, you will find a step-by-step guide on how to farm Gold early in Elder Scrolls Castles.

Guide farming Gold early in Elder Scrolls Castles
The best way to farm Gold in Elder Scrolls Castles is by selling items. However, not every item will give you the best value, and some items are just too expensive to craft. The trick is to craft items that cost the least but sell for a lot. Below, you will find two methods to craft the best items you can sell to farm Gold coins:
Method 1: Earn 280 Gold coins by selling Sewing Table items
The Sewing Table unlocks once you reach level 16 in Elder Scrolls Castles. Once unlocked, it can be used to produce Lamplighter's Coat for six Burlap, but it can be sold for as much as seven Gold coins. However, the trick is to sell them in deals to earn the highest amount of Gold coins.
Follow these steps to earn more Gold:
- Craft a total of four Lamplighter's coats. This will cost you just 24 Burlaps.
- Wait for the craft to finish and then collect the coats from the Sewing Table.
- Once that's done, click on the Order button at the top-left corner.
- Next, click on the order that says 280 Gold coins reward.
- It will ask for four Lamplighter's coats, which you have already crafted, so click Send.
- Once that's done, you will immediately receive 280 Gold coins.
Ensure you reach at least level 16 to try this method. The Sewing Table can also create Chef's Uniforms, which can be sold individually for seven Gold coins.
Method 2: Earn 260 Gold coins by selling Workshop items
Once you reach level 18 in the game, the Workshop will unlock. It can craft Iron Spoons and Oil Lamps. While you can sell both of these items, our current focus is on the Iron Spoons since there is a deal for them.
Follow these steps to earn a lot of Gold:
- Craft a total of three Iron spoons, which will cost only 12 Iron ingots.
- Wait for the craft to complete and then collect them from the Workshop.
- Once that's done, click on the Order button at the top-left corner.
- Next, click on the order that says 260 Gold coins reward.
- It will ask for three Iron spoons, which you have already crafted, so click Send.
- Once this is done, you will immediately receive 260 Gold coins.
This concludes the guide on how to farm Gold early in Elder Scrolls Castles. These high-reward deals can only be used once. Therefore, once they are done, you will have no other option but to craft and sell Lamplighter's coats, Chef's Uniforms, Oil Lamps, and Iron spoons individually.
The rewards for these aren't much, but if you keep repeating this process, you will earn a fairly decent amount of Gold early in Elder Scrolls Castles.
