The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom puts you in the shoes of Princess Zelda on her journey to save Link. While the roles are reversed in this game, the value of Rupees is just as important as in any other Zelda title. Rupees are the primary currency in the game and are required to purchase healing items, food, and cosmetics, and to complete certain quests.
Farming Rupees in The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom can take a lot of time, especially during the early game. That said, there are certain methods you can employ to quickly stack up your money, as explained in this guide.

Long-time Legend of Zelda fans would know that cutting grass with a sword can drop Rupees. However, unlike Link, Zelda cannot use a sword. But she can still cut grass, weeds, and vegetation using her spin attack.
To do so, tap the R button on your Switch to make Zelda spin in a circle. This spin attack doesn’t inflict damage on enemies but can cut grass. Then, teleport to any area with grassy terrain and start cutting grass and vegetation. You’ll quickly notice the Rupee count climb.

2) Opening Treasure Chests and breaking destructible items
Treasure Chests spread across Hyrule have a decent chance of dropping large amounts of Rupees. You can come across Treasure Chests by exploring the maps and dungeons, solving puzzles, or beating monster camps.
Similarly, you can find many destructible items while exploring dungeons. Destroying these objects can sometimes reward you with Rupees and other useful items.
3) Defeating enemies and bosses
You can stack up a decent amount of Rupees by clearing every monster and boss you encounter during your journey. Head to any idea with a high concentration of enemies and defeat them for a chance to receive Rupees as a monster drop.
However, there's no guarantee you will earn money every time. That said, this is a highly rewarding method if you’re good at combat.

4) Using the Crow Echo
This method requires you to complete the game till Suthorn Ruins Dungeon. Once you clear the dungeon, you will meet Impa’s older brother, Lueberry. He will ask you to catch two rifts in Jabul Ruins and the Gerudo Desert area.
Go west from Lueberry’s house to enter a desert area with Crow enemies. Defeat any of them with your own Echo and then learn the Crow Echo. If you have two or more Tri-Powers, you can summon this Crow Echo.
Then, target any enemy with the Crow Echo to attack and defeat them. Once you defeat an enemy, the Crow Echo will ensure you get a few Blue or Green Rupees. The Echo will also gather Rupees for you in case you have some lying around nearby.
4) Selling excess items
A simple way to earn money is by selling excessive materials in your inventory. Items like Tough Mango Smoothies and Golden Eggs are some of the most valuable items in The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom and can be sold for 50 Rupees and 150 Rupees, respectively.
You can find Golden Eggs by opening chests, while Smoothies can be crafted using the Tough Mango Plant found in the Oasis of Gerudo Desert.
