Sparks are the primary source for increasing your abilities and power level in Black Myth Wukong. That said, unlike some games where dying results in the loss of level-up currency, Black Myth Wukong provides the ability to retain these Sparks even after dying and respawning. Moreover, you can reuse and apply them elsewhere, a feature known as Reignite the Sparks.

1) Leveling up

Each level will reward you with one Spark. You can increase levels by completing side quests or defeating enemies and bosses. Since resting at any Keeper’s Shrine resurrects all the common enemies in an area, you can use this mechanic to farm Sparks infinitely.

Once you have accumulated enough Sparks, you can rest at a Keeper’s Shrine to access the Self Advance menu. Here, you will find various abilities and spells that you can unlock or upgrade.

You can pick any ability or spell to experiment with multiple playstyles. If you don’t like the selected powers, you can easily reinvest your Sparks in new abilities by using the Reignite the Sparks feature.

If you want to reinvest Sparks, simply select “Reignite the Sparks” from the Self-Advance menu. Thereafter, you can either choose to recover all the Sparks at one go or specific ones by selecting abilities one by one.
