How to find the Aurora Gas Mask in Stalker 2

Stalker 2 is set in a fictionalized Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. This is where a real-life nuclear disaster in 1986 caused immense loss of life, and left the area with so much radiation that it will be uninhabitable for thousands of years. The game replicates the radiation and its effects, with Skif having to equip a gas mask to survive the immense radiation onslaught.

Not only is having a gas mask quite important for survival in the Zone, but choosing the right one can be challenging. A great early-game option is the Aurora Gas Mask in Stalker 2, which can be found in the Radiation Hazards Sign Storage area of the map. Below is a guide on how to acquire it in the game.

Where to find the Aurora Gas Mask in Stalker 2

Located near Zalissya is the Radiation Hazards Sign Storage, an area with some buildings and a few stashes that can be looted. There will be some enemies among the buildings, so make sure to have weaponry and ammo ready to defend yourself.

Next, head toward the building with a ladder that leads up to its roof, and find the Aurora Gas Mask atop a bag. Pick it up to have it stored in the inventory. Fret not - it weighs just 2.0 kg, meaning it doesn't weigh too much either. Below is the location of the item on the map.
