How to find the Discarded Key in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

The Discarded Key in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a key item that you will require to complete an optional mission in the Gizeh region. Each region you explore in the game has unique sidequests and mysteries. In Gizeh, while you explore the map, you will find an old man stuck in a house. To save him, you will need to open the locked door using a key.

Where do you find the Discarded Key in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle?

First, go to the northeastern section of the Gizeh map, near Gizeh Village. Look for a small, dark red house between the Great Sphinx and Gizeh Village.

This house is easy to spot, as it has three resting camels nearby that can be photographed for bonus XP. As you approach it, you’ll hear a man shouting for help from inside the house. The door is locked and it requires the Discarded Key to open.

To find the Discarded Key, you must explore the house. Walk to the side of the building where you’ll see a low crumbling wall next to some crates. Use these crates to climb onto the wall and look for a white paint mark on the side of the house. This indicates a climbable ledge.

Jump and climb up to the roof of the house to find a bird’s nest containing the Discarded Key.

Once you have the Discarded Key, return to the locked door and open it. Inside, you’ll find a man who explains he became trapped after moving crates for Wehrmacht soldiers. Once freed, he will thank Indy and leave the area.

Inside the house, you’ll find a Wehrmacht crate containing two ₤75 rolls of cash, totaling ₤150. These funds can be used to purchase items such as adventure books or a lighter. Additionally, completing the mission rewards you with 15 Adventure Points.
