Finding a Hot Spring in Metaphor ReFantazio will be the main objective of the side quest called Deliver Hot Spring Water. While exploring the city of Altabury Heights, you can pick up this mission and help a merchant procure the item she is looking for. Completing this quest rewards you with 30,000 x Reeves and Almighty Panacea.

This quest can only start after you progress the story to a certain point. You will be given 31 days before heading off to the final battle. Head to Altabury Height and look for the quest marker on the Upper Blue Sky Bridge. You will find the merchant outside of the General store in Altabury Heights. Talk to her to start the quest.

She will tell you can find the Hot Spring only at Night and in the Lower Blue Sky Bridge area.

Finding the Hot Spring in Metaphor ReFantazio

Spend the day until nighttime and go to the Lower Blue Sky Bridge. Make sure to not attempt any dungeon as it will progress to the next day once you get back to town. You will spot a cave opposite which Catherina is sitting unless you have maxed out her follower rank.

Head to the cave and take a bath to obtain a Vial with Hot Spring Water. This will also progress the time to the next day.

Completing the quest

Go to the Upper Blue Sky Bridge and talk to the merchant. This will conclude the quest and she will announce that she is ready to create a Bath Salt in your honor.
