How to find and use Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Finding the four Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be a hassle as there are multiple locations to hit. To be precise, you have to look in eight regions for these dolls. Upon obtaining them, you can unlock a new character in the game: Jack Skellington. He was included in the title after "The Pumpkin King Returns" free expansion.

Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Locations

The Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be found in various biomes throughout the game, with their locations being completely random for each player. However, to kickstart your search, the first doll should typically be located in the Plaza biome.

If you cannot locate the Matryoshka Doll within Plaza, you may have to explore the Peaceful Meadow biome. Additionally, it is important to note that the dolls will exclusively appear in open spaces, thus making it unlikely to find them within caverns, houses, or any other enclosed areas.

These are the usual locations in Plaza where you might find first the doll:

• Outside your house
• Just before entering Peaceful Meadow
• The eastern area of the fountain
• Outside Scrooge McDuck's Store

After discovering one, Merlin's friendship quest "Something Comes A'Knocking" will be initiated. This quest requires you to locate three additional Matryoshka Dolls. As the dolls appear in various locations for each player, it becomes necessary to revisit all the different game areas to uncover the random spawn points of these dolls.

How to utilize the Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After you find at least one Matryoshka Doll, Merlin will tell you to find a spot in the Forgotten Lands for them and then send you on your way. Upon collecting all four, go to the Forgotten Lands and find the tall and slender tree. It's located near the fountain and has a pumpkin face carved on it.

As you interact with the tree, you must put all four of the Matryoshka Dolls in there. Once you have placed the fourth Matryoshka Doll, Jack Skellington will appear in the Valley. Following that, he will require a place to stay. You need to place his house in a free space and also pay Scrooge McDuck 5,000 Star Coins. Lastly, talk to Jack to complete the "Something Comes A'Knocking" quest.
