How to fish in Infinity Nikki: Complete fishing guide

Fishing is perhaps the most relaxing activity in Infinity Nikki. In the game, you can catch various types of fish and use them to craft Outfit pieces. However, they cannot be caught right after starting your Miraland journey. To do so, you must acquire a special Outfit that will allow you to wield a fishing hook. Thereafter, you can go fishing.

How to craft the Rippling Serenity Outfit in Infinity Nikki

To be eligible to craft the Rippling Serenity, you must start the World Quest, “Unexplained Coma Incidents.” During one of the Chapter 1 sub-quests, you need to catch a fish for one of the quest objectives and will be allowed to unlock the Outfit Sketch from the Heart of Infinity using Three Whimstars and 1,000x Blings.

After unlocking the Sketch, craft all of the associated Outfit pieces by using the following materials:

• 5x Daisy
• 1x Foodie Bee
• 1x Floof Yarn
• 72x Thread of Purity

Upon crafting all of the Rippling Serenity Outfit pieces, you can switch to it and start fishing in Infinity Nikki.

How to catch fish in Infinity Nikki

Catching fish in Infinity Nikki is simple if you know the right way to do it. To start, go to any of the fishing spots in Miraland and switch to your Fishing Outfit by pressing “Tab.” You can open the world map by clicking on the Map on the top-left side of the screen or pressing “M.” Then, click on the small book with a leaf icon and switch to the fish section.

Depending on the type of fish you want to catch, select and track it: this will show you its location. Now all you have to do is go to the highlighted spot.

To use your fishing rod, press the right mouse button after going near the water where all the fish are swimming. Once a fish gets stuck, a hook icon will appear. Press the “S” key to start reeling it in. During this process, make the fish expend all its stamina as it tries to swim away.

If the fish tries to go left, press and hold “D” until its stamina completely depletes and vice versa. Once the fish is exhausted, repeatedly press the right mouse button to reel it in. Repeat this process until you catch it.
