Ranging from the game simply crashing to many in-game bugs, Satisfactory currently consists of a lot of problems that the developers need to take care of. The game is a factory simulation open-world game where you have to build a futuristic factory from scratch. While this does sound exciting, the main issue is that many players are not able to generate power as the coal in the game doesn't reach the generator.

Coal power plants and conveyor belts work hand-in-hand in the game. While the power plant requires coal to generate energy, the conveyor belt is used to transport raw materials. If the coal doesn't reach the generator, this leads to the production being halted which can be very frustrating.

While there is no proper explanation for why this happens, there is a possibility that the issue might pop up for you if you lack resources in your inventory. To solve this issue, you can try to remove the coal manually from the conveyor belt and then restart the game.

Even though this method doesn't guarantee that the bug won't bother you again, there's no harm in trying it out. The developers of the game seem to be aware of the issue and recently assured gamers in a Steam community post that this will be resolved soon:

"currently working on a hotfix for this! There's a workaround where if you have coal in your inventory when you interact with it, it should work again," the anonymous developer wrote.

While there is no explanation right now for why this happens, let's just hope the developers sort this out before it gets too late. Hopefully, the issue will be resolved as soon as the next patch of Satisfactory 1.0 is out.
