How to get more accessory slots in The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

The recent release of The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom is the first game across the series' 29 main entries and compilations to have Princess Zelda as the playable protagonist. Having become a popular story character across the franchise's long history, Zelda is out to rescue Link, who has been sucked into a rift and taken to unknown lands.

On this journey, the player can have Zelda don many accessories. Apart from helping her look dapper, some accessories can also provide various in-game benefits. However, at the start, only one accessory slot is open and available to the player for customization. Here are the steps to increase the number of accessory slots in the game.

How to find the Great Fairy in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

The additional accessory slots must be purchased, and this can be done by visiting the Great Fairy. This fairy can be found in a cave known as the Great Fairy Shrine, located in the middle of Lake Hylia. Upon conversing with her, she will give the player an option to increase their available accessory slots.

This option is termed as "Make me more stylish!", following which the ability to purchase the additional accessory slots shows up. In total, up to five accessory slots can be unlocked at once, although they do come at a cost.

Cost of increasing each accessory slot in Echoes of Wisdom

The price of buying each accessory slot increases in ascending order, with the player being able to buy anywhere from two to five accessory slots. With that in mind, the player must have ample currency in their inventory. The cost per upgrade is as follows.

• Unlocking the second accessory slot: 100 Rupees
• Unlocking the third accessory slot: 200 Rupees
• Unlocking the fourth accessory slot: 500 Rupees
• Unlocking the fifth accessory slot: 1000 Rupees

Upon adding up the numbers, players need a grand total of 1800 Rupees to be able to purchase all five accessory slots.
