How to get chests in Clash of Clans Treasure Hunt event

Supercell released a fresh Treasure Hunt event on September 19, 2024, wherein players can collect chests in Clash of Clans. As part of the September calendar, this event offers various exclusives that only those with Event Pass or Gold Pass used to possess. It's worth mentioning that the event was slated to arrive on September 11, 2024, but due to some errors, it came out on the mentioned date.

Along with chests, Supercell introduced Magic Snacks in the Clash of Clans September update. These items are solely acquired by opening chests and are used to temporarily boost army training or reduce building upgrade time. Note that these items expire 24 hours after being obtained; so use them as soon as possible.

Treasure Hunt event grants players chests in Clash of Clans

Players must perform multiplayer attacks and loot chests from their enemy bases. Three random buildings in their foes' village will be marked as 'housing a chest'. Destroy all these buildings, as one of them has the chest. When decoys are destroyed, a red cross will appear over them, while taking down a building that houses a chest will display a green tick.

Players can obtain a total of three chests within the reset time quota displayed in the multiplayer raid section.

Chests are of three types based on their rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. After a player obtains one, they must smash it four times, which can uplift its rarity level, yielding more exclusive rewards.

The following are the probabilities of obtaining chests in Clash of Clans:

Common chest: 58%
Rare chest: 32%
Epic chest: 8%
Legendary chest: 2%

Rewards yielded by chests in Clash of Clans

Chests yield rewards based on players' Town Hall level. For instance, a player with Town Hall 6 might get 80,000 - 160,000 Gold or Elixir, while those with TH16 can receive up to millions of these currencies.

The same goes for Builder Base items. Depending on a player's Builder Hall level, they receive rewards from their chests.

Here are the types of rewards you can expect from different chests in Clash of Clans:

Common chest: Wall Rings, Power Potions, Magic Snacks.
Rare chest: Starry Ores, Books.
Epic chest: High-end rewards like the Eternal Flame decoration and Hero Equipment.
Legendary chest: Hero skins and sceneries.
