Infinity Nikki: How to get Dawn Fluff

In Infinity Nikki, the Dawn Fox is located in Wishing Woods (southeast of the Desperation Orb Warehouse Warp Spire) in a small clearing with a big tree and a shallow lake.

Keep in mind that this area can only be unlocked after completing the Chapter 6: Mysterious Wishing Woods main quest. If you have not finished the quest, the location of the Dawn Fox will be inaccessible.

How to groom the Dawn Fox and obtain Dawn Fluff

Once you reach the clearing, you will notice the Dawn Fox playing around on the grass.

Unlike most animals in the game, the Dawn Fox cannot be groomed just by using the Animal Grooming Outfit. To approach it, you first need to switch to the Shrinking Ability, which can be unlocked by crafting the Starlet Burst Shrinking Outfit during Chapter 6 of the main story.

Then, follow these steps to groom the Dawn Fox:

1) Switch to the Shrinking Ability and approach the Dawn Fox

From the Ability Wheel (which you can access quickly by pressing TAB on PC), switch to the Shrinking Ability. Press the right mouse button to shrink and switch to Momo's perspective. Once you have transformed into Momo, walk up to the Dawn Fox.

2) Quickly switch to the Animal Grooming Ability

While controlling Momo, get as close to the Dawn Fox as you can, and wait for it to turn around. Once it does, press the right mouse button to turn back into Nikki.

Then, quickly switch to the Animal Grooming Ability using the ability wheel and immediately press the right mouse button to approach the Dawn Fox stealthily.

If you have followed all these steps correctly, the Groom symbol will appear above the Dawn Fox's head. You can now groom it and collect the Dawn Fluff from it.

Things to keep in mind to help groom the Dawn Fox

Here are a few things you should keep in mind to successfully groom the Dawn Fox:

• If you accidentally startle the Dawn Fox, it will run back into its cave, leaving you unable to groom it. In this case, walk away and wait for the animal to come out of the cave before trying again.
• While switching from the Shrinking Ability to the Animal Grooming ability, try to make as minimal movement as possible to not frighten the Dawn Fox.
• If you fail to groom the Dawn Fox on your first try, keep repeating the steps while trying to be as stealthy as possible.
