- Reach the final missions: The EM-1 becomes available during the missions, The Last Step or Let No One Leave Unsatisfied. These missions occur after crossing the point of no return in the game.
- Choose the correct ending Path: To access the EM-1, you must pursue the Strelok, Kaimanov, or Ward endings. Players on the Spark route will not encounter the necessary boss fight to obtain this weapon.
- Defeat Scar: During the final missions, you’ll face Scar, an important character. After defeating Scar in combat, you can loot the EM-1 from his body. It serves as his primary weapon.
