How to get free Mega Knight Evolution in Clash Royale

Supercell has just announced an event that rewards a Mega Knight Evolution in Clash Royale. Mega Knight Evolution is not only the first Evolved Legendary but also the first Evo that is being given for free upon release. This is a huge relief for the free-to-play community as they usually wait months to get an evolution post-release. In the past, Supercell has only given one more free evolution in Clash Royale.

That said, Mega Knight Evolution has garnered a lot of hype. He can knock back enemies with his melee attacks and follow it up with a splash attack. Furthermore, it only takes one cycle for Mega Knight to get its evolution, hence every second Mega Knight deployed will be an evolution.

This article delves into the details of the ten-day event that will reward players with a Mega Knight Evolution in Clash Royale.

How can players get a Mega Knight Evolution in Clash Royale?

Players can win a Mega Knight Evolution in Clash Royale by completing a milestone event that will span ten days, from September 14, 2024, 9:00 AM UTC to September 24, 9:00 AM UTC. To participate, players must be at least King Level 7, and at Arena 11 (3400 trophies).

Players will need to log in during the event duration and collect a set amount of Crowns from battles to progress through the milestones. Here are the rewards and tiers for the 10-day event:

Free reward: Gold Crate
20 Crowns: Plentiful Gold Crate
30 Crowns: Plentiful Gold Crate
40 Crowns: 1 Mega Knight Card
55 Crowns: One Mega Knight Evolution Shard

Completing the milestones will reward players with just one evolution shard, whereas six are required to unlock the evolution. Hence, milestones will have to be completed six times, requiring players to collect 330 Crowns.

Additionally, we can only get a maximum of six crowns per match, three from destroying the opponent's crown towers, and three from defending ours.

Players who collect enough shards to unlock Mega Knight Evolution in Clash Royale before the event ends can collect crowns for these bonus rewards:

Free: Gold Crate
20 Crowns: Plentiful Gold Crate
40 Crowns: Plentiful Gold Crate
90 Crowns: 2x Mega Knight
140 Crowns: Mega Knight Exclusive Emote

Additionally, players who are above King Level 7, but below Arena 11 will collect crowns for Knight Evolution shards. The milestones are as follows:

Free reward: Gold Crate
10 Crowns: 250 Knight Cards
20 Crowns: Plentiful Gold Crate
30 Crowns: One Knight Evolution Shards

Players will have to collect all the Knight shards one by one and complete the milestones six times to get the Knight Evolution.
