A permanent ZZZ event in the 1.0 version, Eridu Frontier, grants Soukaku as a reward. You must play the Shiyu Defense game mode and complete its Third Frontier in Stable Node to get free Soukaku in Zenless Zone Zero.

The Shiyu Defense game mode is an end-game content you can unlock after beginning the Main Story Chapter 2 - Intermission. First, you will have to complete the second Inter-Knot reputation rank-up mission, which becomes available after reaching Inter-Knot level 20.

You can access the mission in the Story mode via the HDD System. The mission pits you against enemies weak to the Ice and Ether damage. After wiping out all enemies and completing the mission, you will have to clear a specific objective.

To complete the objective, you must go to the Scott Outpost, and play the introductory stage of Shiyu Defense. After that, the game mode can be accessed from the Video Store Menu > Challenges > Shiyu Defense.

In Shiyu Defense, you will find two modes: Stable and Critical. The former is easier than the latter. There are 10 stages in the Stable Node, where you will fight against various enemies. The stages grant rank based on the time you take to defeat the boss.

Here are the details:

• S-Grade: Complete any stage with 360 seconds remaining
• A-Grade: Complete a stage with 240 seconds remaining
• B-Grade: Complete a stage by defeating all enemies

You will also earn Polychromes, Plating Agents, and Dennies as rewards from each stage. Additionally, the third stage of Shiyu Defense rewards you with Soukaku in Zenless Zone Zero once as a completion reward.
