While the steps for ordering the Genshin Impact x McDonald's collab food items and redeeming the code are pretty straightforward, buyers are facing a few technical issues in regards to delivery.

The Genshin Impact x McDonald's collab has two items listed on the event menu: Genshin Impact Apple Pie and Genshin Impact Deluxe McCrispy Meal. Each of these items provides buyers with one code, which can be redeemed for in-game goodies.

Here are the rewards that can be obtained by exchanging the delivery code for the Genshin Impact Apple Pie:

Hero's Wit x2
Mystic Enhancement Ore x4

Alternatively, buying the Genshin Impact Deluxe McCrispy Meal will provide a code that can be redeemed to get these rewards:

Here are the steps you can follow to obtain the Genshin Impact x McDonald's collab codes:

Step 1: Make sure you have the McDonald's app downloaded on your phone. Log in to the app using your email credentials. In case you do not have an account, you will need to cretae one first.
Step 2: With the McDonald's app open, navigate to the "Genshin Impact x McDonald's collab" event banner, where you will find the special Genshin Impact themed event meals. Order whichever item you want.
Step 3: After your purchase is complete, you will get the redemption code in your email inbox.

Despite the process of ordering the food items being pretty straightforward, technical difficulties have led to many buyers not getting their redemption codes even after purchase of the items.

HoYoverse has addressed this Genshin Impact x McDonald's issue and asked buyers to take note of the following before purchasing the collab items:

Buyers are encouraged to make sure they have "Email Notifications" and "MyMcDonald's Rewards" enabled in their McDonald's app.
Buyers are requested to check their "Spam" or "Promotions" folders in their email clients, as emails might sometimes inadvertently be stored there.

Even after following all the fixes suggested by HoYoverse, people may still face issues related to code delivery.

Under these circumstances, a Reddit user received help by contacting McDonald's Customer Service via phone and providing them their name and the email address they used to login to the their app. Following this user's advice, other buyers facing the issue also resorted to doing the same thing and some received help.

As of now, many buyers have yet to receive their redemption codes for the Genshin Impact x McDonald's promotion.
