Despite belonging to the bronze category, Inherited Pride is not an easy achievement by any means. The reason behind this is simple. To unlock this branching path in Future Trunks' Saga, you need to complete the preceding quests on the default settings of the game. ie. normal difficulty.

However, once you manage to unlock the Inherited Pride quest, you can lower the difficulty to easy and still get your hands on this achievement in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. You can also refer to this guide to figure out what difficulty is right for you.

In order to earn the Inherited Pride achievement, you have to select the 'Stay Here and Train' option during the Trunks' Choice episode. Then, you will need to defeat Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan within a fixed amount of time.

While you will be fighting the trio as Trunks, what makes it extra hard is the time limit. This is also what made the achievement very rare, as only 9.49 percent of people have completed it at the time of writing. Moreover, defeating Piccolo and Gohan is not that tough if you have enough experience under your belt, but Vegeta will pose a threat to even the most experienced of players.

Upon defeating Piccolo and Gohan, choose 'Go with Vegeta.' While there are multiple ways to finish any battle in this game, one of the best ways to defeat Vegeta during this battle is by ensuring that you have 3 full bars of Ki charged during the start of the round. Now, use Meteor Smash by pressing RT+Y on Xbox, or by pressing R2+ Triangle on PlayStation 5's dual-sense controller.

If you are unsuccessful in landing the Meteor Smash, the best option will be to restart the battle. Once you use Meteor Smash on Vegeta, turn on the Sparking Mode as you approach him for a close-range battle. Now, Dragon Dash by pressing RT+A/ R2+ X, followed by spamming X/Square. Then, without giving Vegeta enough time to recover and counterattack, press Y/ Triangle and use Ultimate Attack by pressing RT+B/ R2+ Circle.

Once you manage to defeat Vegeta, you will finally get the Inherited Pride trophy.
