How to unlock Kassie in Free Fire in the OB45 update

Unlike other Free Fire characters, who are purchased from the in-game shop via FF Diamonds, Kassie can be unlocked by finishing in-game tasks assigned at the event section.

Below is the step-by-step guide to unlocking Kassie in Free Fire:

• Step 1: Open Free Fire on your device.
• Step 2: Head to the event section once the home page opens.
• Step 3: Head to the Game updates and then Free New characters.

In the Free New Characters section, you will find a few challenges that need to be completed before July 2, 2024. These tasks include playing 16 matches in BR, CS, or LW mode, which will unlock the character for seven days. Likewise, play 40 matches in these modes to unlock the new character permanently.

What are Kassie's abilities in Free Fire?

Kassie is a neuroscientist and healing expert who has two abilities - Electro Therapy and Focused Therapy. The former allows her to form a healing bond with any teammate, given they are within 20 meters, which grants both of them three HP per second. Focused Therapy lets Kassie instantly deliver 100 HP to the chosen ally when triggered by double tapping the active button.

Note that Focused Therapy cools down in 60 minutes and automatically delivers the ally 50 HP when their health gets lower than 50. Also, the created bond with the chosen ally can be manually discontinued.

If you're a beginner or enjoy long-range combat, Kassie is an ideal character for you. However, if you prefer one-versus-squad matches, you're better off choosing some other Free Fire character, since Kassie works best with allies.
