Optimus Prime in Squad Busters has just been released as a part of the Squad Busters X Transformers collaboration. Players can unlock this new troop by participating in the current event that rewards chests, which drop Optimus Prime. In the event, players collect Energeons and trade them for rewards like emotes, chests, etc. Additionally, a similar event will commence for Elita-1 on September 24, 2024.

Optimus Prime is featured in the current Squad Busters event, which will run till September 23, 2024.

To unlock Optimus Prime, players must open event-themed chests. These chests can be acquired in exchange for Energeon Cubes, which are in-game items dropped during battles. Once enough Energeons are collected, tap on Optimus Prime, who is present in the Plaza, to exchange them.
Players can get 13 Energeons for free by logging in to Squad Buster from the in-game shop. Additionally, the first reward chest from the event is guaranteed to drop an Optimus Prime. Therefore, the first copy of the new troop is free to get.
Steps for unlocking Optimus Prime
Follow the given steps to easily unlock Optimus Prime in Squad Busters:
- Step 1: Launch the game and open the in-game store
- Step 2: Collect the free 13 Energeons.
- Step 3: Open the Plaza, select Optimus Prime, and give him the Energies for unlocking the new troop.
Only the Baby form of Optimus Prime is rewarded for free. Later forms can be unlocked by completing the event's reward track.

Rewards
The reward track of the event is progression-based, items are rewarded successively. Additionally, to unlock the reward of each tier, required Energeons need to be collected starting from zero.
