Enemies in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree pack quite a punch, and every single enemy in the DLC can take away your entire health bar in just a few hits. However, the game provides players with more than enough tools to tackle these opponents. In fact, the right combos can make you overpowered pretty early in the DLC.

This article will show you how to become overpowered early in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.

To get overpowered, we are going to use the Milady Light Greatsword in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.

The standard Ash of War on this weapon can be a little underwhelming. So, for our purposes, we will use the Wing Stance Ash of War, which can be found in a tower outside the Castle-Lord's Chambers Site of Grace. While applying the Ash of War, make sure you use the Bleed affinity.

Next, we will equip Talismans that will take advantage of Milady's fast combos by boosting damage. We will use the Lord of Blood's Exultation, the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, and the Shard of Alexander. But the most important Talisman will be Rellana's Cameo, which will boost your attack power when you're in a stance.

Here are the recommended stats for your setup:

  • Vigor: 50
  • Mind: 25
  • Endurance: 40
  • Strength: 25
  • Dexterity: 80
  • Intelligence: 20
  • Faith: 9
  • Arcane: 24

Adding more points to Dexterity and Arcane will allow us to fully realize Milady's damage potential. We will use Milady's fast combos to quickly get bleed procs for huge chunks of damage, as enemies with a lot of poise can be hindered by using a heavy attack while using Wing Stance. Moreover, you can easily posture-break enemies for critical hits by using a few charged Heavy attacks with Milady.

Coming in with a heavy attack and then stringing together a few light attacks is enough of a combo to make short work of most enemies. Additionally, we will equip the Solitude Armor set, which will give us a solid 96 poise and allow us to tank more damage. You can get the Solitude set by defeating the Blackgaol Knight waiting for you inside the Western Nameless Mausoleum.

With all of this equipped, you are now overpowered and should be able to run easily through the Land of Shadow. Note that while you will fight fiercely, your enemies will retaliate just as hard. So make sure you're timing your dodges correctly for the best chances of success.
