How to get your PlayStation 2024 Wrap-Up

Sony's yearly recap for PlayStation players is here in the form of the 2024 Wrap-Up, which showcases data regarding your playtime and gaming habits over the year gone by. These include stats like total playtime, number and kind of trophies earned, longest gameplay streaks, and more. This feature is available for both PS5 and PS4 players.

Yearly Wrap-Ups have been made a staple over the past few years by Sony, and some have even rewarded players for partaking in them. For instance, viewing the 2019 and 2020 recaps in full gave a special theme to apply on the PS4. Similarly, viewing 2024 Wrap-Up will give you an Avatar for your PSN account.

Here's how to view the PlayStation Wrap-Up for 2024

A pre-requisite required to access this is that under your PSN account's settings, the amount of data you share with Sony has to be selected as "Full Data" on the PS5 and "Additional Data" on the PS4. You also need to have played for at least 10 hours from January 1 to December 31, 2024 and must be over 18 years of age.

With that step completed, head over to the official PlayStation Wrap-Up website and view an overview of your 2024 in gaming across the PS4 and PS5. PS Portal stats for remote play on your PS5 will also be included in this stat.

Going as per the Wrap-Ups of previous years, you can expect some stats among the following to be visible:

• Total playtime
• Longest gaming streak
• Favorite game
• Hours played in single-player and multiplayer game modes
• Number of games played
• Number of new (unique) games played
• Gaming Style, based on the types of games you play
• A month-by-month breakdown of your playing habits
• Favorite genre of games

In addition, historical statistics are newly introduced this year. It will showcase stats such as the total number of games played since your PlayStation account was created, trophy milestones achieved, and more. With December 2024 marking 30 years of PlayStation, the wrap-up will have a retro aesthetic, with some callbacks to the history of the device.

This recap can be accessed through to January 10, 2025, so consider re-checking it after 31 December to receive a more comprehensive breakdown of your stats. Though the website displays a "We'll be back soon" message presently, it should be resolved very soon by Sony.
