How to acquire the Rat Killer SMG in Stalker 2

The Quest

Note: You'll need to complete the 'Dark Times' quest to access this mission.

You can find the modded submachine gun inside the game's 25th main mission — An Act of Mercy. The quest follows Skif trying to retrieve a special device used by the monolithians. However, this act will be made exponentially complex by the quest giver's request not to kill any monolithians — making it a stealth mission.

How to locate The Rat Killer SMG

Proceed through the Monolith infirmary, stealth your way around the guards to make your objective easier. However, do not simply make your way back to the exit. Instead, enter the room behind the monolithian device (also called the regenerator). Take a left and enter the next room. Once there, go left again, and you'll find the prized Rat Killer SMG lying behind a wooden structure beside some 9x18mm ammo.

Return the monolithian device to the doctor to complete the quest.
