Red Mile in Starfield is essentially a gambling den. It is a casino hotel run by Mei Devine. At a cursory glance, you will quickly realize that this point of interest isn't meant for regular citizens. Instead, it used to be the hangout spot for criminals like space pirates and smugglers, who were on the run from the law. However, the POI has since been converted into a resort for all the space-dwelling civilizations.

Usually, most players would steer away from the location. However, you must visit it to complete a few side quests in the game. The hotel still has its gambling roots and gives you opportunities to make a name for yourself and land a huge fortune.

Where is Red Mile located in Starfield?

The Red Mile in Starfield is located on the planet Porrima III in the Porrima star system. To get there, you must complete a few main quests first, following which you can freely explore all the systems.

Here's how you can reach it:

• Open up your Galaxy map.
• Look for the Porrima star system.
• Once you're in the Porrima star system, look up the planet Porrima III.
• Finally, look up the Red Mile icon on the planet's map and land there.

You will now land right outside of the hotel. You can easily spot the right place as it features bright red neon signs stating its name, which is hard to miss, given the planet's otherwise gloomy look.

What's in Red Mile?

One of the major reasons to even go to the POI is to complete the Run the Red Mile quest. It is a blood sport, where you must traverse through harsh lands filled with toxic gases and enemies until you reach the final beacon.

Once done, you must return to Mei. This will mark the run as complete, earning you a ton of credits and loot. Completing the run once will award you with a Brute Force shotgun, and going through the entire course at least 29 times will get you the Desperation rifle.

It is also one of the few places in the game's universe where you can get Shielded Cargo Holds and Signal Jammers.
