While Disney Dreamlight Valley looks beautiful gamers might run into a ton of obstacles that might make it difficult for you to discover the whole world. This includes the overgrowth of mushrooms around the map. This can cause trouble and affect other in-game activities like mining and farming.

Removing mushrooms in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The first step of removing the mushrooms is increasing your friendship with Merlin. For this, you simply need to engage with him more often. The following interactions will help with this:

• Talk to him
• Meet him every once in a while
• Exchange gifts with him. Some of Merlin's favourite gifts include candies, empty vials, crudites, and dream shards.

Once your friendship with Merlin reaches level 7, you will unlock a quest called A Dark Experiment. During this stage, you will receive a watering can from him that will help you remove mushrooms around the valley. Talk to Merlin and gather the following:

• 20 Mushrooms - Available in Glade of Trust
• 5 Emeralds - Available in Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust
• 3 Purified Night Shards - Made with 5 Night Shards and 1 Dream Shard each

Once you hand these over to Merlin, he will upgrade your watering can, enabling you to remove small bunch of mushrooms.

Removing bigger clusters of mushrooms

In order to be able to remove bigger clusters in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must max out your friendship with Merlin. Once you are done with this, unlock Wall-E. If you have already completed The Shy Little Robot,' you will unlock yet another quest called The Final Trial. As the name suggests, this is when Merlin will agree to upgrade your watering can once again.

Once you have crafted 5 purified night shards during this quest, go to Wall-E to get this crushed into night shard powder. Return to Merlin and gather the following:

• 1 Falling Water -Found in the southern area of the Glade of Trust near the water drop-off, you'll need to pick up the vial from the water.
• 1 Ice Heart - Merlin will give you an Ice Heart Seed, plant it, and water it until you can harvest it.
• 25 Mushrooms - These grow in the Glade of Trust

After this you will be able to craft the Royal Watering Can Upgrading Ointment. Hand this over to Merlin, and finally, you will be able to remove all the big clusters of mushroom in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
