There is no specific location that guarantees a rope in the game. As your crash landing is randomized during each run, you'll need to look around for some time before you can find a rope.

A rope can be found in any of the cannibal villages on the map. While finding one will purely rely on luck or patience, you can search for a compass and a map to have a better idea of the various villages in the game. There is a good possibility of finding villages near seashores, or deep in the forest.

Be wary of cannibals on the way there as they can be a major threat to your survival, especially if you're starting out. You can acquire an Axe from the body of the flight attendant in the crashed plane to give you a chance at surviving an encounter.
